The folks at Symbian Signed dot com is totally tired signing applications for non-developers n people w/o publisher id n the like and it seems that they have quit (Ah,now u can call that customer satisfaction, maybe?). ‘We’ desperately need to get our apps signed.Down below you can find the 10 simple steps to sign your apps without visiting symbian signed n all.(eww!!)

Less talk.Here’s the procedure to sign your apps.This topic has been absorbed from various sites,blogs n all ,n since it worked perfectly for me, i tot i’d help u guys too.But this process takes a day.Ya’ll need to be patient.But one-day’s wait….and symbian-signing is yours for the keep’n.hehe.

1 : Go to this site : http://s60.vgooo.com:801

2 : Click on the marked link ( the one thats green ) :

3 : This like directs u to a registration page.U feed in your desired username,password, retype your password, and then provide your (valid) e-mail-id in the boxes as shown below.The text in orange has been written to help u guys out.

Call yourself lucky if you get a screen like the following upon clicking the green button in the registration page.N if you dont get it call urself unlucky!!..(just for the moment actually…try again..u’ll get lucky sumtime!..God bless !)

4 : Next, you’ll either be redirected automatically to the IMEI page or you’ll have to login to do that.Login page looks like the following.Login with the e-mail address and password you provided during registration.Skip this step if your already at the IMEI page.

5. If the login was successfull, u’ll be directed to the IMEI page.IMEI page looks like the pic shown below.Provide the IMEI of your phone in the text box and click on the green button.To retrieve your IMEI Number press *#06#.You get a 15 dig number.Feed that number in the text box.

6.After you provide your IMEI the following message box pops up.As i said..this is the place where ya’ll have to hold your horses and cows…they say u need to wait on an average ‘one day’ ,but it works in much lesser time.I waited about 5 hours to get mine done.Just register it at night and open it up the next day.simple!

7.After you’ve waited long enuf, login with your u-name and pass.You have to login to check the status…you will not receive any emails.If u get the following message box, your done.

8.Clickin OK brings us to the page that we’ve been waiting for soooo long.Here, click on the grey button “Browse” on the right of the text box.Choose the file that you want to sign (in ur hard disk), and then click on the blue button below.(Text in red = mine )

9.Clicking the blue button brings up this :

Your signed file is provided as a downloadable link in a *.sis format.It consists of many numbers actually.Click on the link and download the file.Install the file in your phone.Are we done? yes.

10.Thats it.Ten steps to symbian signin’.Clicking on the blue button on the above screen takes you to the previous page wherein you can browse and select other unsigned files.Now if the above doesn’t work as said, just try refreshing a couple o times.It should work.
